In the project „Fashion Field Walks – A Critical Magazine Workshop“ we produce an independent artistic fashion publication. We critically examine the spatial staging, visual language and social structures as well as power dynamics of presentation sites for art and fashion.  In joint focus walks, we conduct field research in the dense urban space of Berlin Mitte. As a mobile editorial team, we document our research by means of drawing, photography and text, which are processed into collages, textile works and other artistic translations together with students in the Kurt-Tucholsky-Oberschule and the MiK Jugendkunstschule. What framework of action do we have to reorder power structures and social dynamics?

The collected results form a magazine that also reflects common formats . It is a contribution to an active fashion culture with space for investigative, poetic, humorous and intuitive work, for a range of approaches that artistically expand the fashion field.
